About: Lucien Bossoutrot (1890 - 1958) was an aviator and celebrated hero of WWI. In 1919, he flew the first, international passenger plane, broke several records and, in 1934, established the first commercial flight path through the South Pacific.
Bossoutrot was also a politician; as a member of the radical social party he, like Eberl, was an active member of the Résistance.
